I.D. Viewing / Witness Cremation?*

Our professional fee to schedule a private appointment to either witness the start of the cremation and/or identify the deceased at our crematory. We'll contact you to schedule an appointment time. Appointments are available between 9 am and 11 am, weekdays, and are limited to 30 minutes and 20 persons. Identification is through a viewing window — this is not a formal viewing; the deceased will be on a gurney covered with a sheet.

Temporary Urn?*

Let us know how you'd like the ashes returned. The included temporary urn has a rigid plastic inside and a cardboard exterior. Upgrade to a decorative option below, or choose to shop for a permanent urn later.

Add-Ons? (Photo, Fingerprint, Lock of Hair)

Add-ons may not be available in all cases. If we're unable to secure one, we'll refund the fee.

Split Ashes? $49 Each

Ashes will be split, bagged, and placed into the primary urn unless additional urns are purchased or provided. If you purchase additional urns from us, you don't need to pay the split fee. One split equals two sets of ashes; two splits equals three sets, and so on.

How many certified copies of the death certificate do you need?

Your first certified copy is included at no charge; each additional copy is a $4 state fee.

Death certificates are essential for verifying a person's death. Banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, employers, and government agencies typically require a death certificate as proof. The most convenient way to obtain them is by ordering them directly from us. Please note: we only facilitate the initial order, so be sure you purchase enough.

Death Certificate Processing?*

Texas death certificates are issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics in Austin. Routine processing — after the physician certifies the death — typically takes 4–6 weeks. Rush processing may shorten this to 3–4 weeks. Timeframes don't include weekends or holidays and aren't guaranteed.
