Your Arrangements Are Complete
You have completed all three steps. Our team has received everything we need and will begin moving forward right away. Thank you for trusting us during this difficult time.
A Death Has Already Occurred
Please read the important action item below. We are already working to coordinate care — your next step is to notify the hospital, hospice, or care facility that Lone Star Cremation will be handling the cremation.
You Submitted a Quote Request
Your quote is valid for six months from today's date. When a death occurs, we will invoice you from your quote the next business day after our services are needed. No action is required from you today.
Important — If a Death Has Already Occurred
If you have not already done so, please contact the hospital, hospice, nursing home, or care facility where your loved one is located and let them know that Lone Star Cremation will be handling the cremation. Give them our phone number: (817) 546-0108.
The facility needs this information to release your loved one into our care. Once they have our contact information, our licensed staff will coordinate the transfer — typically within a few hours. You do not need to be present for the transfer.
What We Are Doing Right Now
Reviewing Your Authorization
Our staff is reviewing your completed e-sign authorization and all disclosures to ensure everything is in order.
Coordinating Transfer
Once the facility notifies us, our licensed staff will coordinate the respectful transfer of your loved one into our care.
Filing All Paperwork
We handle all required permits, death certificate filing, and state authorizations entirely on your behalf.
Keeping You Informed
We will keep you updated at each stage of the process so you always know exactly where things stand.
Pre-Planning Quote Reminder: Your quote is valid for six months from today. When a death occurs, simply call us at (817) 546-0108 and we will invoice you from your quote the next business day after our services begin. There is nothing else you need to do today.
What Happens Next
Notify the Care Facility
Contact the hospital, hospice, nursing home, or care facility and give them our name and phone number — (817) 546-0108. This authorizes them to release your loved one into our care.
We Coordinate the Transfer
Our licensed staff will coordinate the respectful transfer of your loved one to our temperature-controlled facility — typically within a few hours of receiving authorization from the facility.
We Handle All Required Paperwork
We file all required permits, death certificate applications, and Medical Examiner authorizations with the State of Texas on your behalf. The certifying physician has up to 10 business days to sign.
Cremation Is Performed
Once all required state authorizations are in place, cremation is performed privately at our licensed crematory. Your loved one is cared for with complete dignity throughout the entire process.
Remains & Documents Returned to You
Cremated remains and certified death certificates are returned to you at our Mansfield office or delivered as arranged. The typical timeframe from transfer to completion is 7 to 14 days.
We Are Here 24 Hours a Day
If you have any questions at any point — about the process, notifying the facility, your timeline, or anything else — please don't hesitate to call. Our staff is available every day of the year.
Thank you for trusting Lone Star Cremation. We understand this is one of the most difficult times in your family's life. It is our privilege to serve you with the dignity, transparency, and care your loved one deserves.
